Al Salam Children’s Library conducted a seminar on the prevention of virus C 

Al Salam Children’s Library conducted a seminar on the prevention of virus C on Sunday, 25/2/2018, presented by Dr. / Sahar Abdul Khalek at Al Salam Medical Department, the seminar was attended by 60 students from the El Kholafaa El Rashedin School.

The seminar was concluded by the best methods to prevent Hepatitis C virus

1. Check blood before transferring from one patient to another to avoid infection.
2. Avoid using someone else's personal tools, especially bloodstained razors and toothbrushes.
3. Avoid the use of non-sterile medical injections, especially in dental clinics, as well as injections used in traditional medicine practices & tattoos, through which the skin is pierced. If the injections were contaminated with blood from a person carrying the virus, this will result in transmission of the infection to the healthy person.
4. Ensure the cleanliness of devices and tools in medical centers and hospitals, doctors and nurses must keep their hands clean and wash well.
5. Take Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B vaccine.
6. A regular medical checkup is required, as it helps to detect the disease early.
