Medical Seminar
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, Mansheyat Nasser Development Center organized two seminars on reproductive health (female circumcision) and the second on intestinal worms.

A brief about female circumcision and the importance of hygiene for the child and mother to protect against intestinal worms
1. Dr. Asmaa Al-Bakri spoke about female circumcision and the damage caused by infertility and contamination - for girls before and after marriage.
2. Egypt issued laws that criminalize female circumcision for families and doctors.
3. Some countries do not have female circumcision.

Mrs. Awatif Abdel Moez also spoke about the importance of hygiene for mothers and children to protect them from intestinal worms and gave them some advice such as:
1 – Washing hands before and after eating food and after playing and the importance of cutting nails to protect the child from exposure to intestinal worms.
2 - Not to eat food from outside the home to protect the child and mother.
3 – Mothers should care about the cleanliness and health of their child to detect when changes occur, and to clean after the toilets with soap and water.
